The Optiorange Valencia 2022, for the Optimist class, faces its final stretch of preparations for the great children's sailing party. The Valencian event, organized by the RCN of Valencia and the St. Petersburg YC and which will be held from March 3 to 6, is very strong in the few years it has been in existence, being its fourth edition in these years, after cancellation in 2021 due to the health situation.

The regatta, Emprén Esport 2021 award from the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation in the Grassroots Sports section, has been positioned as one of the most attractive on the international scene, proof of this is the increase year after year in the number of registrations. In this edition, when there is little more than a month left for the official start of the competition, the Valencia event already has 500 registered and a waiting list that reaches 40 sailors, with the organizing committee setting a maximum limit of 500 sailors who They will be the starting line in the three days of competition.

The success of the young Optimist class regatta is guaranteed by the excellent organization that both St. Petersburg YC and RCN Valencia have carried out in these previous editions, with an extensive and attractive program of activities on land and the excellent technical level in the water, thanks also to the good weather conditions and a stable wind range that have allowed some spectacular regattas.
