Mateo and Simón Codoñer, champions of the Spanish Cup 29er

The brothers Mateo and Simón Codoñer (RCN Valencia) and the Balearic Islands Susana Bestrad and Mª Teresa Martín (RCN Palma) have been proclaimed champions of the Spanish Cup at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia in a third and last day that has been marked by the total absence of the wind, leaving without being able to close a single test on the day. The national title has been decided with the test on Friday and the five yesterday Saturdays, adding a total of six.

At 12:00 noon the fleet was already heading to the race course with the idea of ​​being able to sail. At around 3:00 p.m., intelligence was raised on A in the three regatta areas, so the fleets returned to land without being able to contest a single race. The six tests completed in 29er validate the title of Spanish Cup champions.

Together with the Codoñers, the silver has been for Marina Conde and Manuel Martín (RCN Palma) from Palma and bronze for the locals Sergi Soler and Guillermo Castellano (RCN Valencia).

In the women's category, Susana Bestrad and Mª Teresa Martín (RCN Palma) have been at the top of the podium, accompanied by their clubmates: Neus García and Lucía Busquet, while Sara and Isa Momplet (RCN Valencia), remain with the bronze.
