The Real Club Náutico de Valencia hosts this week the 90th International Session of the European Youth Parliament, that this year has the title "Navigating towards new horizons" and that will be attended by 310 young people from 38 countries throughout Europe, who will debate different current political issues while they get to know, experience and live the cultural diversity that their continent offers , and they enjoy nautical activities and the sea.

This morning the event's opening press conference took place at the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, a partner of the EYPE (European Youth Parliament España) and that will take place from July 25 to August 4, 2019 in Valencia. The presentation ceremony was attended by its president of EYP Spain, Rafael González Graciani, the directors of the Valencia 2019 project - 90th International Session of the European Youth Parliament, Aritz Labrador, María Granero and María Blázquez, as well as the president from RCN Valencia, Alejandro Fliquete; Marisa Arlandis, manager of the club's social and sports tourism area and Carlos de Beltrán, manager of the entity.

The Valencian club has signed a collaboration agreement until 2021 to become the headquarters operational in Spain for talks and parliamentary simulations in Spain of the European Youth Parliament Spain (EYPE from English European Youth Parliament Spain), a non-profit organization present in more than 40 European countries and whose objectives include fostering a critical spirit, dialogue and debate in thousands of young people from all over Europe; always from the perspective of tolerance and respect.

Thanks to this agreement, it is planned that talks and workshops will be held throughout the year to bring European institutions closer to young people between 16 and 25 years old, as well as a quarterly crash-course with parliamentary simulation of the Understanding Europe Spain program for a maximum of 30 young people that will be organized and developed in the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Valencia.
